Alessandro Palace Hostel and Bar is super easy to get to from Termini Station. The staff is great, and they are open 24 hours, so it was no problem when we arrived there at almost midnight. The guy at the desk told us where we could get pizza that late, since we were starving, and he made sure we ate... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, and were completely satisfied. Wandering through Rome at night looking for hostels, we skipped the strange "Astro Hostel" (don't even consider), and were sent to this place after recommendation from the fully booked "Roma Downtown Hostel" (nice one). Our room was recently renovated and very clean, 4 bed dorm, located in a separate building... More

Booked a triple ensuite with friends, this room is located in the annex building which is around the corner from the main building. Pretty clean and secure, with lockers provided. Counter staff are a little unprofessional but did not really affect us. However, the wi-fi policy is extremely draconian - 1hr per guest for the entire stay. You have to... More

I love the location of this hostel and the bar is great to hang out at night. The breakfast is free but slim. The front desk staff is helpful but not too friendly. The elevator is a nice perk of Europe, but unfortunately the room we stayed in had bedbugs. With only one thing sheet and a blanket, we asked... More

For 20 euros some friends had rooms in a 2 star hotel so 30 euros is definitely overpriced for sharing a room with 3 other people. One of the front desk receptionists was a stupid indian guy that would not give me back my 5 euros for key deposit and he raised his voice at me when I argued with... More

Clean. Cool. Easy. I've been everywhere and this place was one of the best. Pricey, maybe; welcome to Roma, this town is designed around ripping you off. This hostel is 1st rate. More

I was backpacking around Europe this past summer with my friend and cousin. Since there were three of us we had to share a room with one other person who we ended up becoming very good friends with. We stayed here for three nights and loved it. It had a great, friendly atmosphere with lots of people in their twenties... More

Positive Points: - The Bar - Free cold pizza (:p) - the room - free maps - Services around - restaurants around - Next to the Termini Station - Shampoo and soap Negative points: - expensive bar - check in (3 pm!!!) and check out (10 am!!!) time. We "dont" pay for 24 hours. - Dumb elevator. Just accept one... More

As hostels go, this place looks good when you first see it but I would say that it isn't worth even ten euros to stay at this place. We were sent there from their sister property, the Downtown Alessandro which seemed pretty good but had no beds left. I was with two Indian guys who were also turned away from... More

Don't stay in this hostel. We never had a service like that in any other hostel. We arrived in the afternoon to prepare our beds and leave all our stuff. When we came back at night there was someone in the bed and all our stuff was gone. The deskguy had given one of our beds to someone else without... More
