We stayed at the Hollywood for just one night and that was enough. For a cheap night near the train station it was ok but I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. The room was average in size for an Italian hotel room but the shower didn't work. Didn't bother complaining as we were leaving anyway. Wouldn't stay here... more

This place was great. The staff spoke english well and were very friendly. The location is excellent, right near the train station with Metro access. Also, across the street is an internet and phone cafe. I stayed alone in a private room for 2 nights at $62 USD/night. The first night I was upgraded to a room meant for 4.... more

I stayed in the Hostel just down the street, owned by the same people, in September 1999. I had planned to stay at Fawlty Towers, but a fellow backpacker in Venice advised that I stay at HH instead. Best advice I got the whole time I was there!I remember the owner's name as being "Maria" but I could be wrong.... more
