After a flight which was disrupted by the general strike on the 6th September, we were unable to catch a connection to Naples and were eventually offered overnight accommodation with dinner and breakfast in the Airport Palace. It is definitely not a Palace!! We did query the star rating of the hotel at the airport and were assured it was... More

After my Sunwing flight was delayed for 10+ hours, we were sent to this hotel. The shuttle was late coming to the airport to pick us up, at least by 30 minutes. The lobby looks clean, but the wallpaper is peeling in the staircase and the rooms are not very clean. My room didn't have a garbage can and there... More

Had a cancelled flight home & the airline put all the passengers at this hotel, close to Fiumicino Airport. It is located in Ostia, walking distance to the beach & shops, so location was good for the purpose. The restaurant food & service was excellent! They put out a lovely spread & serviced wine for the stranded passengers - dinner,... More

Stayed here because of mechanical problems with Delta. This place was a dive! It was dirty. there was writing on our hotel room wall. Warm air came from the AC. The room smelled. Bath towels were dish towels. I was charged $69 dollars to use the internet to send an email home. Very bad experience. More

How in the world can anyone call this hotel “ok”? This place is a filthy, frightening, unsafe dump. It is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. Alitalia cancelled our flight and the representative had the gall to assure our 6 women travelers that this was a “4-star” hotel when we inquired. I’d like to see her send... More

I had a long stopover in Rome so decided to find a hotel for day use rather than drag myself round the terminals. Words really cannot describe it - The only thing I can say that is positive is that the bathroom was cleaner than the toilets in Rome airport. Which is not really saying very much. We were picked... Our flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems with the plane. I was traveling with my family, and we have two young kids ages 2 & 4. It had already been a long day, because of the delays, and we were a little relieved when they finally cancelled the flight (i.e. the kids were getting restless and tired and in... More

The rudest staff in Italy. They barked at me when I asked for assistance. Tried to gauge their guest during the Volcano Crisis. Throwing out families at midnight, to try to get an extra buck. I was a paying customer and got yelled at and things thrown at me. In a bad part of town, close to the airport, the... More

Well, I can see I'm not the first to post a review following the volcanic ash cloud, KLM, and a couple hundred people bussed to "a four-star hotel by the ocean". After a day at the Rome airport of standing in line, KLM/ Delta informed us that we would not be able to fly home for five days. We were... More

Stranded in Rome due the ash cloud from Iceland. After a day hanging on the airport KLM offered us this hotel. Buses full with stranded passengers arrived, but only one person behind the desk. The next morning with the checking out, the same story. There was only one elevator working. In the room the only thing that was of a... More
