As part of a Cosmos Tour, I postponed going out to this hotel until the last minute, because it is a little way out of Rome and I had not heard great reports. It was a lovely surprise, after the crowds in the city. The setting is gorgeous. It is like a resort. Lots of trees, lawns, flowers, and a... More

Location is a bit far out for visits to main monuments, etc, but access to Merto is a short walk and bus services pass the hotel. Accommodation is clean and comfortable not fancy! Food from restaurant is very good. Black mark.......they charge 10Euros per person for use of swimming pool. Expensive if travelling as a family. A bit slow in... More

Stayed here June 6th and 7th 2011 on Cosmos Tour 6486. Room was ok but could use updating. for me bed was great nice and firm. Breakfast was not so good, not much varity. All in all it was what you get on a tour. Staff were friendly and helpful. More

Stayed one night on the last night of a Cosmos tour. The hotel is clean, with a great garden in the back, but is located outside of the city center. It is a 10 minute walk to the metro on a very busy road. There are several nice restaurants located on the same road. It was fine for what I... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a Cosmos tour package. The hotel is situated quite a distance from the centre of Rome. About a 10 minute walk to the Metro and another 15 minutes to the centre of Town. The room was standard but the beds and pillows were quite hard. Consequently, I didn't sleep well while there. The... This is not really a hotel, it was obviously an apartment building at one time. Stayed here 1 night as part of COSMOS tour, & one night was enough. A/C was not working in room when we arrived, but a maintenance man was able to fix it. Building is old, toilet seat in bathroom was cracked. Rooms sort of musty,... More

This was a school trip with 45 11 year olds and several staff members. Hotel did put most of the kids in a different building to the adults which was a bit of a dopey thing to do but that aside it was great. Rooms are spacious with large balconies. Decor is a little tired but the rooms were huge... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, unpleasant does not even describe the experience. Front desk staff rude, restaurant staff unfriendly and rude. Rooms are spartan and tv did not work. No hot water for showers. Lots of young school groups, loud and unruly. Far from the center of Rome. Taxi must be used to get anywhere. $20 Euros to get from... More

With multiple options available to me to stay at other hotels in Rome on my next visit... I have chosen to return to Parco Tirreno. My experience there was a good one. The staff are very friendly, and traveling with my teenage daughter, I felt very safe.... thousands of miles away from home. The breakfast, which is included, was a... More

I actually stayed back in October 2009, but March 2010 was the earliest date that I could nominate. I've only just decided to start reviewing hotels. We found the Parco Tirreno to be more than sufficient for our stay. We were travelling with a group, so we don't really know what we paid for the room - unable to comment... More
