Terrible front desk "service" - unhappy and painfully unhelpful. Worst "breakfast" in Italy - it is listed as a B&B in Trip Advisor so pre-packaged croissants was not what we had thought we paid for. No common room or lounge to sit in. At €120 per night this was the worst value and quality of our trip. More

I stayed 4 nights at begin of November 2011. Good sides: -Location, all interesting areas are within walking distance. - I feel safety. - Staffs are friendly . - Appearance of rooms are same with web page views. Newish style. - Beds were comfortable. Bad sides: -No heating in November. ( Reception area was being heated, but not rooms.) --... More

Thanks for the review. I wanted to make some clarifications on some things You said: The heating is autonomous (Air Conditioning) and present in all rooms. Customers can turn it on by themselves, independently and adjust the temperature as it is better for them, so do not understand why you say that there is no heating, since it is not... More

This does exactly what it advertises - provides basic accommodation in an amazing location. So if your surroundings is more important to you than your bedroom then stay here! It's about a minute's walk from the Pantheon and has one of the best coffee places in Rome almost next-door (Sant'Eustachio). It's on a gorgeous cobbled narrow street and the sounds... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights-five days in Room-B (Aug 9-13, 2011), which had an attached bath. Plus points: 1) 50 yards from Pantheon and within 15-20 min walking distance of most major sites. 2) Very inexpensive hotel considering the fantastic location. Don't expect the moon for 95 Euros a day. 3) Plenty of eating places of... More

When your 100 meters from the Pantheon and only paying 90 euro a night, you know you’re not getting a 5 star hotel here. It is a 1 star hotel after all. We stayed there for 6 nights. The staff was friendly, nice and very helpful. Had a double room with private bathroom. The room was decent. Full size bed... More

Really I don't know what some people who write these reviews expect when they're paying 90 Euros to stay right in the centre of Rome! Yes it's basic, but I found it to be clean and the staff helpful. The air-con is a real plus too if you're planning a visit in the middle of summer. The location is truly... More

I stayed here for a week with a school trip. We had many rooms and all of the showers had orange mildew in them. I went to the local grocery store and bought shower cleaner and cleaned the common shower in the single bathroom myself because it was disgusting. The rooms themselves were very nice, although some people in my... More

I have stayed at Hotel Mimosa in Rome on 4 or 5 occasions, and have never been disappointed. The location (near the Pantheon) is superb, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff always welcoming and helpful. HM is a no frills place--some rooms have shared baths, the continental breakfast is basic, only one computer for internet, no tv. But... More

Let's face it: you're not going to find anyplace under 100€ so close to everything. That said, we had problems with room B, such as insects and what seemed a whole wig stuck in the bathtub drain. Point to the staff, they promptly gave us another room when we complained. There's nothing much to be said about the place: it's... More

I recently taught a course in Rome and I stayed with a number of students at the Hotel Mimosa. It doesn't claim to be a luxury hotel. It's completely unpretentious, but it is also quite comfortable and extremely well located! It's a family owned hotel and there's a wonderful personal touch in the way they relate to guests. The staff... More
