Last stop on our recent overseas trip was Rome where we stayed a BnB La Duchessa. Most of our accommodation throughout Sicily and Spain was very satisfactory but La Duchessa was easily the best.. I can only reiterate all the things others have said viz the rooms are extremely clean and beautifully decorated, breakfast was fantastic and Daniela catered for... More

Daniela's and Marco's hospitality makes you feel at home, more like staying with friends than a B&B. The apartment is exceptionally clean and modern, providing modern amenities (wireless included), even including English television programs beyond news channels! Breakfasts were wonderful- catering to all tastes and appetites, it would be impossible to leave hungry, in fact you could almost eat for... More

This is the finest B&B we have *ever* been to, bar none. The proprietors Daniela and Marco are two of the most kind, generous and helpful (and very humble) hosts you could ever hope for on your trip to Rome. You are treated as friends rather than mere customers passing through, but they are do not impose at all on... More

Daniela is very warm and kind, but still professional and respectful of your privacy. Her correspondence leading up to our arrival was very responsive. There are just 3 rooms, so breakfast is quiet, and Daniela and Marco's service is very personable. A huge variety of breakfast items. I'm particular about cleanliness of hotels, and I was very pleased with La... More

Marko and Daniela are wonderful, responsive and good people. This vibrant, heart and selfless attitude, we have not met the people. Here you can relax and feel at home (in Rome). Very high-quality repairs, all the furniture is new. Everything works. The apartments are located on the top floor (you will sleep so tightly as in any hotel in Rome,... More

We spent 11 nights in Rome. Marco and Daniela are incredible. We have food allergies and they made WONDERFUL eggless, dairy-free cakes for us to eat! They helped us find restaurants and communicated our special needs to the owners. They are kind, helpful, and thoughtful. Our teenage sons were impressed that we found such an amazing place. It is a... More

I booked La Duchessa A Roma for a city break to Rome to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday and have to say this is one of the best experiences of a bnb we have ever had. I would highly recommend La Duchessa Roma and can't imagine staying anywhere else. The bnb is beautiful. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with bright... More

We spent 3 nights at la Duchesses mid-March and we really loved it. The rooms are comfy and extra clean, the breakfast is delicious and huge. But most of all the hosts are great people, Daniela and Marco were taking good care of us. We even had homemade cakes for breakfast and woke up with a very nice smell of... More

My spouse, daughter and I spent a very pleasant 4 days in early February at the B&B La Duchessa a Roma which is located in very nice and safe area. Daniela, the owner had already emailed us some good info about transport and getting from the airport easily, which was useful. On arrival she and her husband Marco spent some... More

We stayed at La Duchessa for 5 nights in February 2013, a good time to visit Rome because there were not large crowds at the various attractions. The service offered by Daniela and Marco was excellent throughout, from our initial email correspondence to the day of our departure. As we arrived very late at the airport, they arranged for an...
