We stayed at this hotel for two nights in late November prior to boarding a cruise ship. The hotel is in a very convenient location and walkable to many restaurants, shopping and major tourist sites - it is also quite close to the Termini train station. The rooms are fairly small, but nicely decorated. Bathroom shower is very small, although... More

We chose the Hotel Aberdeen based on its location and on positive Tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. Located opposite the back entrance of the Ministry of Defence, it is convenient for bus and metro, for restaurants nearby and in the Via Flavia area, and within comfortable walking distance of most tourist attractions (we walked to St Peter's Basilica... We enjoyed a two night stay at the Aberdeen Hotel in central Rome. The room was very adequate for a short stay. The floor was not carpeted but very clean tile. The bathroom, though small, was well appointed. The included breakfast was the basic continental fare which was really all we needed. The location of this hotel is a real... More

The Aberdeen is in a very handy location. It is within walking distance of all the sites and very close to the train station from which you can take easily take a train to and from the airport. There are plenty of eating places nearby as well as a grocery store and pharmacy. The room we had was on the... More

I had stayed here 10 years ago with some friends and when I came back to Rome I tried it again for 4 nights. The location is very quiet. It is across the street from the Ministry of Defense, so lots of security and you feel safe in the area. The building that houses the hotel, has a couple of... More

My friends and I stayed last August 11-13, 2011 to tour around Rome. That was a short stay but we indeed enjoyed it. The triple room was a bit crowded for 3 pax but if you happen to just use it for sleeping it was a-okay. The toilet was clean. Breakfast though has only few choices but was good enough... More

Perfect location, staff were outstanding (especially Mariano at the front desk and the dear lady who served breakfast). Room was clean and housekeeping excellent. Only complaint is that when you open the window in your non-smoking room, all the cigarette smoke from the courtyard is sucked right in. I guess I was dreaming to expect to find a little respite...
