I stayed at the hotel with my wife and daughter. We are about average size but the opening into the shower was so small we could only just squeeze through. There were no knives to spread the butter and the caretakers did not speak English so it was very hard to communicate

We were very pleased with the hotel. The room and en-suite were clean and tidied and cleaned on a daily basis during our stay. We were made very welcome and a taxi was booked for our return flight with no problems. Access to a computer and the internet were available at no extra charge. The continental breakfast was adequate and... More

We stayed here in March of 2012, and found it to be clean, friendly and with a PERFECT location for exploring the Colosseum end of town. When we first walked in the windows were open for fresh air and I thought, "Oh, no. It's going to be so noisy on this major road." But as soon as you close the... More

we stayed there for two nights last month. the place was what we have expected - basic, simple, totally acceptable and reasonably priced. if you don't expect a 'hotel' with amenities etc., then this is a fine place. location was comfortable - a bit of a walk from the old down down, but busses are right there and take you... My stayed at Tourist House was wonderful! The hotel is simple, the rooms are cleans and the localization, it won't never be better! The staff, made for one unique man, Martin, was efficient and calorous. I pretend come back to Rome and to this hotel.

I really have not shared the poor experiences from travelers scoring this B&B lowly. I have just returned from a trip with my 8 year old daughter and think the place was perfect. Location was brilliant. Seven min walk from train station. Five mins from major ancient Roman sites and bus tours. I am a seasoned traveller and mum. Wanted... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is good value for money given its location which is 5 minutes from the Colosseum, about 1 minute from a Metro Stop and easy walking to the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable and beds were made up each morning. The Breakfast was very basic, a packaged croissant, tea, coffee,... More

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimalist but totally fine (tea/coffee/fruit juice + toast/cereal/croissant). Wi-fi was good in the rooms except the ones furthest down the hall (I was moved from room 5 to room 3 because of this, and my friend in room 4 was having problems). Staff were friendly and helpful, though you should be prepared... More

Our party of 4 stayed here for 3 nights before a cruise. We wanted 2 rooms but they only had a quadruple room available, so we took it. I informed them that we are 2 couples as I did not want to end up in a twin bed, and that is exactly what happened ! The quadruple room was not... More
