We've chosen Locanda del Fante because of its low price (90 euros per night-high season). When we arrived at the hotel we were a bit disappointed because it seemed a little weird. It is situated at the first floor of a building and doesn't have a 24-hour reception desk. However, the room was nice and clean and the breakfast typical... More

This hotel was a bit unusual. It was more like staying in someone's apartment than at a hotel. Only a few rooms at the entire hotel. There was never anyone at the reception and there was no breakfast area or other common areas like you are used to having at hotels. We were let in the hotel by a neighbour... More

NI arrived at Termini and decided to take the subway since the hotel is just 10 blocks away from the nearest station. However, walking through those small and made of stones streets with two bags is not pleasant at all haha. Fortunately, after finding the small póster that reads "Locanda del Fante" we had to go inside a building and climbed... More

Located in a likable residental-building. In plesant surroundings, not very touristic. But with many restaurants, small shops etc. I liked the Irish pub in Via Calabria. Less than 10 minutes walk to the wonderful park, Villa Borghese. Hotel far from Metro, but near to buses. The room was a bit too small for my taste. Most doubles are about 10... More

The hotel was a nice surprise overcoming our expectations, and both Lucca and Matteo are very sympathetic, providing tips for our daily tours. Great cost benefit ratio.

My husband and I stayed here our last night in Rome and were very happy with our choice. We wanted something affordable, close to the train station (as we had to go to the airport the next day) and not too far from Via Veneto, Trevi and Spanish Steps. This hotel fit all those and exceeded our expectations. It is... More

this hotel is small, clean and perfect for the tourist who plans to spend the entire day sightseeing. it is located within a five minute walk of bus lines which took us directly to the main tourist sites. the staff was very helpful in helping us get around. the continental breakfast was small, but satisfactory. i would stay there if... The entrance is odd in a plain building on the corner of Via Piave. There is a plaque on the wall in front that says the hotel's name. Press the button and they buzz you in. It is only one flight up to the hotel and there is an elevator but we didn't want to wait for it. Someone is... More

My boyfriend and I are a little astonished to read the reviews. I think all of the bad reviews are from people who are accustomed to staying at the Hilton, which this is not. What it is however is very small, quaint, beautiful, b&b with lots of character. We too were a little apprehensive upon arriving as the outside of... More
