We spent a lovely long weekend at Hotel Columbia. The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable. Lovely dining room serving a generous continental breakfast on the top floor, Whilst not important to us during our stay it would have been nice to have a wider selection of TV channels. more

We stayed 4 nights at the beginning of our Italy trip and one night at the end at the Hotel Columbia in Rome. We really enjoyed each of our stays. The location was very close to the Termini and the subway. We only took the subway to the Vatican and walked everywhere else (Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Colesseum, Borghese Museum).... more

Very peacefull Hotel, great breakfast, rooms clean. In a great location, for the Termini, and close to shops. loads of restaurants within walking distance. It was my mothers 70th birthday whilst we were there, and the hotel staff gave her a lovely surprise of a bottle of wine and a card. Thank you. more

The Columbia is nothing to look at from the outside but it's only a block from the opera, three blocks from Santa Maria Maggiore, 20 minutes or so from the Coliseum, 15 minutes from the Spanish Steps and 5 minutes from the station. when , you first see the hotel from the outside you will not be impressed, but once you get inside you will be very comfortable in the charming rooms. Breakfast is lovely and ample and can be taken outside on the terrace if the weather is nice. more
