This hotel should NOT be a three star. It shouldn't have any stars. If we weren't just staying overnight we would have left immediately. The hotel itself is filthy. The room has tiles on the floor. The beds are saggy. The carpet is so dirty and old Ididn't want to put my handbag on the floor. The airconditioning made such... more

It is true, good location but I would highly recommend do not stay in this hotel!!! Not one good thing to say about it, even found the staff unfriendly, the breakfast was terrible, the fridge didnt work, the rooms were incredibly small. We had four of us and they shoved 4 single beds together!!!! It was noisy and the courtyard... more

Hotel Zara located atVia Quattro Fontane in the center of Rome, italy is written up as a 3 star hotel People who look for hotels in Rome should just know that the stars are one less in equiv in quality in Italy, therefore a 3 star rating is really a 2 star hotel, and this hotel definetly fits into the... more

First I didn't realize how close to everything this hotel was. The street where it was located seemed so small. So, the location was very good, and hotel staff was nice. They had very good tips and helped to get tickets to football game. Breakfast wasn't very good, all sweets. Coffee from machine and cakes. And what comes to the... more

I stayed in a twin room with my father in Sept 2009 (which I was a bit worried about as European hotel rooms do tend to be small) but I was really impressed with the big room we received at the Zara hotel. It is basic but it is very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The... more

No response to the request to clear blockage at the shower. Water was taking a long time to drain out. The man at the reception on the first day we checked in had the bloody cheek to tell me “you cannot turn on the shower fully, only half if not the bathroom will flood” which reflects poor customer service. Condition... more

The location was excellent as we could walk to most of Rome's historical sites (Colesseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps). Took Metro to Vatican. Very close to Termini Station for access to trains and metro. Staff very friendly and bilingual in Italian and English. Noisy street so recommend a room in the back of the building. Room was modest,... more

The hotel is in the best location we could ask for. I have been in Rome two times before this trip but this time I have a feeling that we were within a 5 min walk from anything you could wish to see in Rome, except Vatican. Everything we've planned to visit was in walking distance from the hotel. Even... more

The hotel is really close (10 minutes walk) to Termini Railway Station, but nothing more than that. Although it was clean, the room was really hot, there was no air conditioning and it was located on the forth floor, but the elevator only reached the third floor. The bathroom was really a poor and small one, with a weird shower... more
