We stayed at this Hotel from 3/11 till 5/11 2012 and had a lovely time. The best part about the Hotel is the location, it is just off the main shopping street and walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The room was a lovely size but in need of updating but lovely and clean, perfect for what we... More

It is a small hotel with English speaking staff only a few blocks from the Coliseum and a metro stop. Restaurants and shops are all around. The room cost 78 euros for a matrimonial room which is one queen sized bed. It was clean with a nice marble bathroom. It did have a mini bar, which we did not buy... More

May 2011, we arrived and when we didnt speak Italian to the receptionist they were very stroppy with us, the lift was only big enough for one person with a suitcase. The beds were rock solid, may aswell have slept on the floor.... not that we got much sleep from all the noise of the traffic beeping outside, and paper... More

Great location about 500m from Termini train station and walking distance to Collosuem and Forum area. Handy for eateries. on the "Wallet eater/pickpocket express" bus route to the Vatican about 45 min away. The rooms can be very small, about the size of a double bed if you get a single room. but for 45 euros in Rome with a... More

Volevo ringraziare tutti a Hotel Virgilio! Ho passato tre belle notti li' tra il 9 e il 12 dicembre! My mum and I stayed int his little hotel on my first trip back to Rome since I stayed there in 2010, so it was a little emotional! As soon as we arrived Raffaele explained all the details in italian (and... More

We really enjoyed our two-night stay in Hotel Virgilio in Rome. It was the middle of August and we turned up at the front desk of the hotel asking for a room on the same night. The person at the front desk whose name was Raffael, offered us a suite for the price of a double room. He was always... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here in March for 3 nights. It was recommended to me by the travel agents due to its location and proximity to the main sights of Rome. The hotel was a short walk from the train station and a taxi is not required. Our room was clean and fairly spacious but unfortunately the bed was... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. It was ideally situated for exploring the city by foot, within a walking distance from the Borgheze Gallery, the Palazo Venezia, the Forums. The room (a twin room) was very clean and relatively spacious. The breakfast was nice. The staff were very helpful! Will stay there again for my next visit to... More
