Booked a single room thru Booking.Com and it was so so disappointing, The room was shabby, dark and the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in. No hot water in the shower plus the shower leaked on to the bathroom floor. Little space between the bed and the walll, not even enought for a bed side table,... More

A nice small hotel which is ideally located in walking distance to major sights. Reception was very helpful and arranged for taxi for return to airport. Rooms although compact are very clean and comfortable.

This hotel (booked through Booking.com) was perfect for what we wanted and all we needed was a nice clean friendly hotel that suited our budget. We booked a car which had someone wait for you in the arrivals lounge, through www.romeshuttlelimousine.com which was 40 euros from Fiumicino airport to Bolivar Hotel. The Hotel its self was smaller than it looked... More

I don't understand how they can say that hotel bolivar is a 4 stars hotel. First of all the room was completely different from the pictures on their website. Room was small, in the double room the space was enough just for one person. We stayed 3 days and we never had hot water in the shower. Mattress was very... More

This place is in an excellent location and we found it to be of good value for money. The room was comfortable (small relative to US standards but larger than what I expected after seeing rooms in Paris). Our sliding door to the bathroom was not working smoothly but I expect that it will be fixed as I have mentioned... More

Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else in Rome. Not only was the room small and as ancient as the Colloseum itself, but the staff were most unhelpful. We had a bag stolen from the foyer but the staff were pathetic in providing any sort of assistance. We made numerous calls and returned to the hotel on several occasions... More

I highly recommenced Hotel Bolivar for the first class staff, prime location, breakfast, comfort and safety. Not only is the location prime...but the staff couldn't be better. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, kind and helpful. Whether you need directions to the nearest pharmacy, Trevi Fountain, or the best restaurants in Rome, the staff are exceptional. They are incredibly educated... More
