The Albani Hotel is located off the main thoroughfares of the city. About two blocks. The streets are so narrow and tight that the tour buses couldn't get close. Where to start. The hotel location itself is far from ideal. No close Metro stop, However Bus routes were very frequent. Hotel Albani is an excellent, well run clean hotel. The location is only difficult if you cannot think beyond the square. How many of you who wrote reviews actually live close to your own town's attractions? Is 15 minutes such a long time to travel to see the wonders of the world? Get real here. We stayed at Albani for 3 nights in July and the room is very good, the breakfast is excellent but some members on the staff are rude, even we speaking in italian, only the guy at the lobby, during the morning, was friendly. The internet access had problems too. more

Hotel Albani was an alright hotel. The rooms were pretty good- they were clean, big, and had a nice bathroom. The hotel is in a dense urban area of Rome. Our tour bus could only park about a block away from the hotel because of the tight corners and streets. Other than that the rooms were very nice, food was good, bar was very nice and service good. more
