My new wife and I stayed at this hotel for our recent honeymoon. The hotel was awesome. I really don’t understand the negative reviews. The room was spacious, the free breakfast buffet was excellent, they have a pool (although we did not have the time to use it ourselves), and the service was extremely attentive. The only negative thing that... More

This hotel at first really impressed me. The site and staff are very agreeable. The reception area is very comfortable. The room left room for improvement. Thankfully it had two beds in it because one bed felt like it had a 2x4 running the length of it down the middle under the mattress. The other bed was only so-so. The... More

I stayed here during a 3 day business meeting, also being held in the hotel. All in all the hotel was clean, the room was well equiped, the food was alright and the staff was ok. The hotel is located close to the Vatican and it is possible to walk into the city center of Rome but it is a... More

a good hotel, not the best for NH in Rome, not closed to anything. You need taxi to go everywhere or walking very much. Not confortable to go to airport. The hotel however is not good , maybe not fresh new structure but good in complex. I d say excellent breakfast. Good rooms, not so hot, not noisy, so i... More

The hotel was located too far away from the city centre. You had to walk and then 2 busses or bus+subway. Especially in the evening, when fewer busses and metro were available, this was too much for us. The rooms were very small, no view (walls), the smell of cigarettes was still around and the towels in the bathroom had... More

Hotel is located in a quiet and green area about 2 km from Vatican City. Please be aware that it is located on a hill, so if you do not take a taxi, walking there can be quite tiring. There is an outdoor swimming pool, but it was closed in October. Room has average size but it was ok, I... More

Stayed 3 nights as a pre cruise package.Arrived at the hotel early,10:00am on a Sunday after a flight from Boston. Asked if we could check in then and they did accomodate us so we could get a little sleep before the three couples coming after us arrived. Front desk couldn't have been more helpful. Most of our dealings were with Giuseppe... More

LankyB - we agree with you - thoroughly enjoyed this hotel - 3-nite pre-cruise stay - a welcome quiet refuge after each day of sightseeing, crowds, and noises of the big city. We found the personnel friendly and helpful - and rooms clean and spacious. At breakfast - bacon was undercooked but were enough options to fill one heartily to... More

Rooms are clean and facilities are modern. What it lacks for location, it covers it with it's elegant lobby, rooms and facade. Food is good and staffs are friendly. Not much nearby shops so not recommended for long stay. More

I do not get the negative reviews on here. This is a great, huge, American Style hotel who bent over backwards to please us. The rooms are big and clean. They are NOT outdated. They have breakfast included. It's located off the beaten path in a quiet place that's a 10 Euro cab ride to the Vatican so you don't... More
