The Cicerone is within comfortable walking distance of the Vatican City, but not for the elderly. A metro station is a few blocks away, giving access to the Spanish Steps and Termini Station area. From the television stations, including the constant USA bashing Russia Today, (among others) to the completely rude staff do not expect to be treated decently if you are American.
