My wife and I stayed her for three nights. It is in a great location. Walking distance from the Vatican, and most of the great sites in Rome. More

We stayed (group of 7) at The Ciceron for 2 nights March 18 & 19, 2012 and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to a lot of restaurants. Louis at the front desk is great. He recommended a rally nice restaurant within walking distance... More

4 star? well the beautiful hotel next door was definitely 4 star - maybe more - but the Cicerone falls far short. Main problem is lack of invetsment so I guess it belongs to some group or an investment firm whose managers stay some place else. The rooms that have become too dirty or threadbare have had their carpets removed... More

I just came back from Rome after spending 4 nights in Cicerone. I would say this hotel deserves maybe 3 and a half or almost 4 stars. Location is just excellent - walking distance to Trinita dei Monti, Piaza Navona, Trastevere, Campo do Fiori, Vaticano, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon. I walked and walked every day and it was really comfortable... More

It doesn't work for a couple searching for a romantic relais in the heart of Rome, but this hotel offers a good position and a good price. Seems to be in a Sheraton placed everywhere in the world, rooms large and cleaned with unpersonl touch about furniture. But for €100 you're 10 minutes walking from both Vaticano and Piazza del... This 4 star hotel was not at all impressing, it was very worn in general and not up to date. Furthermore you had to pay for internet access - 9 eur per day, that should be included in a 4 star hotel. In general I do not recommend the hotel - I have been at many 2 or 3 star... More

My first stay at Hotel Cicerone was 1989, I've never stayed any where else in the center of Rome since. I was there again on business early Jan. 2012, greeted by the friendly familiar team at the front desk, my room was clean, as always, and very reasonable. Gianni and Marco at the bar are extremely helpful, professional and "good... More

Stayed for 8 nights from Dec. 21-29, 2012 and the hotel staff was wonderful. There were 4 of us traveling. Front desk was very helpful. Location of this hotel is central to Vatican City, Piazza Popolo, Piazza Narvona, Spanish steps and Trevi. Easy walks all ways. The neighborhood restaurants are very charming and offer great food close to the hotel.... More

I stayed in Hotel Cicerone with my Mum as we were told it was close to the Vatican. The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff at the desk and the bar were a little impersonal, but this did not spoil our thoughts of the hotel. Very busy hotel with people and tours coming in and out all day. The... More

We have been guests at the Cicerone Hotel in Rome 5 times. What keeps us coming back? Location, cleanliness and the best Bar Staff in Rome. Marco Tozzetti is not only a great bartender but he is very helpful on things to do and see in Rome. Gianni, Ilaria and Dominico also can not do enough for you. We stopped... More
