Room cosy with a large bed and well equipped, although the carpet could do with being replaced and the wallpaper above the tv area was thick with dust, never sorted out how to work the air con. Bathroom had a very small shower cubicle with doors which had to be opened in a particular way so as they would not... More

After a long flight from Tasmania to Rome on the 13th Sept 2011 the Ambra Palace was a relief. The front desk staff were welcoming and very helpful when asked about the Metro and location of buses etc. The breakfast was more than adequate and varied daily with a good selection for vegetarians. Special mention must go to Senore Diego... More

We were disappointed in this Bestwestern hotel. We always stay at a B/W when in Rome, but this one was a mistake. Our room was very small and the shower door came off in my hands. Had to get dressed and call to have it fixed. The nieghborhood was in the Indian area of the city with many wholesale trinket... More

We completed a 10 day, 3 city tour through Italy and this hotel was great. Our check-in went smoothly, our room was clean, fresh and large. The staff went out of their way to answer all questions about getting around Rome (our first visit to Europe). The breakfast buffet was fantastic and certain to please anyone. The area around the... In Rome myself and my wife stayed at this hotel and I find the hotel good. Especially the staff are very friendly and the room was also good. The only down point was shower was small and taking bath was a difficult. The location of the hotel was good very close to the train station and metro is right behind... More

This was a beautiful hotel, and offers what every traveller would want in a nice hotel. The hotel was very clean, very well appointed, the rooms very clean, excellent bed, very excellent bathroom with bidet, good lighting, heated towel racks, a mini bar, good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was included and a... More

Hotel staff were proactive and excellent. Well-mannered and seemed eager to make other people happy. They easily processed my wife checking in well in advance of me which was very helpful. The front desk has info on the tours in the area, as well as which ones to avoid, and maps which were extremely helpful as well. The doorman carried... More

The hotel was not quite as close to the station as we'd originally thought, but still only a 10 min walk. The rooms were clean, if not very small. Free wifi was a bonus for our kids. Reception staff could work on their attitude, they were not very friendly, rude on occasions. that said, i would stay there again -... More

What do i have to say. Perfect in everything. This was our first hotel in our Europe tour and the first experience itself was mind-blowing. Simple loved everything they had in offer. Staff is very cooperative. This was the only hotel in our whole tour which had proper number of staff and waiters and people to work about. Whatever we... More

This Best Western exceeded our expectations. We were in Rome for a couple of days before our cruise and booked this hotel. The location was wonderful - one block away from the Metro A (Red) Line which was very convenient and the area was quiet (not much going on, but you can quickly get on the metro)! When we checked-in... More
