Well I had booked this break for my birthday and flights were cancelled had to change from a 5* star to Borromea which I was really anxious about but I was surprised it wasn't a great hotel in terms of luxuries but it was clean and hotel staff were so friendly and helpful I had a cold and one of... We arrived @ 3pm, checked in, opened the door to our room to find it wasn't cleaned. Rubbish from previous guests, no linen at all on the bed, 2full bins, bathroom still 'wet' from the last person showering. We went back down to reception. Were asked to go back up to the room to meet the head cleaner there, I... More

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Borromeo in mid October 2011. The best thing about this hotel is that it has a great central location for people who like to walk, like my husband and me. It is located on Via Cavour, just a few blocks from Rome’s Termini. The area around the hotel was fine, in spite of... More

This hotel is convienently located close to the Colesseum, Metro Station and Termini Train station. My friend, her 18 year old daughter and I stayed here for 1 week in a 3 bed room. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom. The continental breakfast is located on top floor which was nice to have every morning!... More

We spent a week in the hotel borromeo and we loved it. Hotel is located in the centre within few minutes walking to the Roman Forums and Colosseum.Great location to walk everywhere. We loved the rooms, bright, extremely clean and recently refurbished. A plus is the roof terrace for breakfast which was more than what we needed. Staff is friendly... More

My husband and I stayed at The Hotel Borromeo which is a small but very nice hotel, ideally positioned near both the main station, the Colosseum and one of the metro lines. The staff were hugely helpful, providing us with information, maps and more that really helped us get around. The room was very clean - not huge but with... More

The hotel itself was situated in the heart of Rome and very close to the Colosseum and other attractions. Also the train station was very close so for those who like to travel to other parts of Italy, this is a great location. The room was quite small, but we survived. Sometimes you could feel the metro under your feet... More

Clean, functional and central. We had a quadruple bedroom (not facing the street which admittadly we were relieved about). Good value for money and within easy wlking distance of termini station (for the airport) and all the sights. Perfectly eadible breakfast included in the price. More
