Dirty room. We put towels on the floor to walk because we didn't want our feet to touch it. Black mold around tub and in the tub jets. DIrt on the walls by the air conditioning ducts. Just not a clean place. Also, the bed was oddly lumpy. More

Honestly this was the worst hotel I have ever had to deal with They did not give me a room in the main hotel, they took me to some back ally apartment complex with a horrendous view of other peoples rooms and to top it off I only had cold water to take my showers in. When I called the... More

Four nights at Hotel Veneto in July. It was more modern Europe than we expected, but had all the comforts and luxury of any more traditional hotel in Rome. The location was perfect - a 10 minute walk from the subway, past lovely cafes and shops, and a 5 minute walk to the park. Our room was large and comfortable,... More

Breakfast was great but thats where it ends. The second room were clean and adquate. I was never picked up at the airport like I had arranged. My first room was in bad need of repairs, the second room maintance had to come up to fix the tub. Could never get internet cards to work properly. Had to get my... More

It is not only that the hotel itself is not worthy of being called a 4 star hotel, it is the most disgusting and horrible place I ever stayed in. The first room we had to change because the room was barely big enough to move around in for two people. The second room on the top floor was bigger... More

This is nowhere near a four star hotel. There were printed paper labels over the doors to indicate room numbers and this reflected the general state of the fixtures and fittings throughout. The first room we were shown, a deluxe suite, smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We requested another. The second was missing basic fixtures, like towel hooks. Both... More

I stayed here for four days last week (September) and was quite disappointed with this hotel. The hotel is located in a relatively convenient location however all the major sites are at least 45 minutes away by foot and the transport system in Rome is quite poor. This may not be too much of a problem in the cooler months... More

My husband and I stayed here last week in room 526, which was a beautiful room. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the area of Rome is great - quiet but close enough to walk to the Metro without trouble. The restaurants that the staff suggested were some of the best meals of our trip. Breakfast was great and... More

We booked two nights in the hotel over the long bank holiday weekend. When we arrived we were told that room in the main hotel will be available next day and meanwhile we were given room in the next door building. It meant we were unable to unpack. It wasn't very big deal as we came only for two nights,... More

The staff at the hotel Veneto was terrible. Some of the pictures they are showing on the website are of the hotel Romantico which is the hotel that is adjoined to the hotel Veneto. We were in Rome for four days and any information we needed, we went to the hotel next to us to get help. At the hotel... More
