Service at the front desk and at breakfast was impeccable -- friendly, polite, helpful. Room was comfortable in an old-fashioned brocade-curtains, oriental rugs style. The breakfast (included) featured fresh-squeezed orange juice, eggs, mozarella, fresh fruit. As a solo woman traveller I felt both safe and well-treated during my 6-day stay. This charming hotel is everything that was described by other travelers. No need for public transportation or taxis - we could walk to all the major attractions. The room was spacious with a window that opened right on to the Forum of Augustus. We could take photos of almost the entire Forum area right from our room. Adored the roof... more
