The style, elegance and quality of service were in every detail of this excellent hotel. The rooms were a good size and had every necessary amenity. Free soft drinks bar in room, free wifi and complimentary buffet breakfast. The staff were simply AMAZING, helpful, knowledgable and sincere. They were there to help and did, no fuss just great. The bed... More

Rome is a busy city, so it was nice to have such peace. But, it's a bit far to walk to most attractions. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, clean, and beautiful there. Decent room size. I like cushy beds and pillows and I didn't find theirs comfy. But, I had that complaint about the other 3 hotels I stayed... More

For many years the Lord Byron has been our preferred stay in Rome and it continues to get better and better. Sumptuous art deco interior and a collection of stunning furniture from this era, but the most impressive feature of the hotel lies with the level of welcoming and efficient service provided by the staff in all departments. Our room... More

If you are looking for something a little different - a true Boutique small hotel - or a fan of the art deco period - consider this hotel. Its a small establishment - in a quiet district of Rome - north of the Spanish Steps - a pleasant 15 minute stroll through a park. Helpful staff speak (at least) English... More

We stayed at Lord Byron for 5 nights in August. We opted for hotel airport pickup as we were on a late flight. Cost 70 euros but was worth it. Although late at night the welcome was friendly and check in was swift. Our room was spacious and beautiful. Complimentary soft drinks/water and Internet was appreciated. We didn't have lunch... Had the priviledge of spending 5 nights with my family at this property. We took 3 rooms all of which were unique and well appointed. While it is a beautiful building in a great location (adjacent to Borghese Park in a very upscale quiet residential neighborhood of Rome) - the most memorable aspect was the impecable service. Under the ever... More

I stayed here way back in January 2008. It was my first time trying out a boutique hotel of this sort, and although it was very charming, it put me off the whole boutique hotel experience. The rooms were TINY, the television was from the days of my grandfather, the walls were paper thin, room service was a joke, and... More

After 3 nonstop days in Paris with our children, it was nice to slow down and enjoy a bit that Rome has to offer. My wife researched our accommodations, and we all agreed the Hotel Lord Byron far exceeded our expectations. The friendliness of the staff upon our arrival, the actual room accommodations, and it's location within the city made... More

We stayed here during the first week of July for 4 nights. The hotel is nice but somewhat dated. The location is a bit tough if you like walking to any place in Rome-- we tried walking the first day but then took taxis for the rest of the trip. We really expected the service to be better considering this... More
