Service : Excellent. Manager Marco, Desire , Paolo, Natalya, Umbaldo and the Breakfast room staff were extremely helpful. They treated us like pampered guests. I traveled with 2 seniors, my parents. The staff was very accomodating. It was sad to say goodbye after 11 days. The room was dated. and could use a makeover. But it was clean and comfortable.... More

Chose this hotel after reading reviews and wasn't disappointed. Although not cheap 130 euro a day, was worth it. The room was big enough for a family of four, the kids having 2 single camp beds and a large bed for us. The bathroom had a big walk in shower and a plentiful supply of toiletries. The room has a... Hotel President was great. First the location: walking distance from the Colosseum and next to (5 meters) Manzoni metro station (direct link to the Vatican). The room: decent size with comfortable (memory foam) beds and really nice pillows (they even have a pillow menu which you can consult). Toilets are new and quite spacious. Also, there are large wardrobe with... More

We got this hotel for €109 for two nights via Compare-Hotels.co (comparison site) which we felt was an incredible deal for a 4* Hotel. The hotel is 10 seconds from Manzioni station (2 stops on the red line to Termini) and a 5 minute walk to the Colloseum. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were not up... More

Stayed at 'The President' this week with my husband to celebrate my birthday in Rome. From arrival to departure the staff were most courteous and helpful. Room on the 4th floor overlooking courtyard was fantastic, spacious and spotlessly clean every day. Only ate breakfast in the hotel which was continental but plenty of choice. Reception staff helped plan every day... More

our visit on 17-21 November 2011 was a really pleasant one. The location is spectacular, mwtro station just outside it, if u turn left on leaving the building and take the next street left again and go 7-10 minutes straight ahead, u will find yourself under Colloseum. But anywhere u go u will find something that will make your jaw... More

Must agree with the recent reviews - the Hotel President was great in every way. Even the "Leader of the Opposition" who is at times somewhat fanatical about cleanliness gave it a white-gloved thumbs up. First the room: Decent size with comfortable, king-size bed. Large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Good size bathroom with bathtub and bidet. Desk, armchair... More

I was there in September 2011. Rated 4 stars. Good location, 2 metro stops from Termini ( I wanted to avoid this area), just near the Manzoni station, and a 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum. The staff is friendly and speak English very well. They gave us free maps and directions about what to visit. We asked in advance for... More

This is great hotel, good location, ideally located within 20 feet from a Metro station. It is also less than 40 minutes walk from most attraction and ones further can be accessed easily via the Metro. Breakfast is excellent, especially after 7 am when hot breakfast is also available. There are many small but noticeable perks too such as free... More
