We were in Italy from November 11-19, 20011. We had 2 separate stays at Albergo Cesari: the first 2 nights of our trip and the last 2 nights. Firstly, what was good about both stays, is the location and the staff, just as other reviews have said, so I won't go on too much about that. The staff are professionals,... More

LOCATION - fantastic location in Rome. very central, and can take the city tour bus just down the street from the hotel (about 5 min walk). close to a number of great restaurants (local, not tourist traps) and close to that famous fountain. STAFF - polite, helpful, and courteous. spoke English fairly well. ROOM - rooms were a bit small,... More

Recently stayed here 5 nights. Could not be in a better location. Convenient to Panthon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Via del Croso. Vatican City was a short cab ride away, or about a 25 minute walk. Please remember this is an older building, and not a five star property. But for location, service and helpfullness of staff (particularly Tommasso and... More

We were in Rome in September. Initally I was disappointed with the lobby and no common rooms at this very small and hotel. Then after complaining about our small room (small for Europe) , the next night they found us a larger and nicer room which was very nice and comfortable. There was only a clerk at the desk and... October 19, 20, and 21 we stayed in Hotel Albergo Cesari in Rome. The hotel is located immediately off the Via del Corso near the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps; it is about a 15 minute walk from the Colliseum. Our room was not large but comfortable. Our bathroom had a shower and was ample in size. The only... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location and has some old italy charm about it. The coffee shop and bar across the lane from the front door of the hotel are fantastic and frequented by the locals which is always a great sign. We had a lovely spacious room with views to the piazza. The bed was ancient with a... More

As others have said, you can't beat the location. It's within walking distance of most of the major sites. It's so nice to walk out of the hotel and within seconds be walking down very pretty streets and minutes away from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The rooms are also beautiful. I had a superior single (room 44) and although... More

What wonderful surprise after a long flight, friendly staff, a clean and comfortable room, unpack and like excited children out into the afternoon sun. Within five minutes the Trevi fountain, and so close to a number of major attractions. The breakfast was wonderful the quality of the food was first class, a wonderful way to start the day gazing over... More
