This hotel is in a great location. It's close to many neighborhood restaurants and shops and within a couple of blocks of St. Peter's Cathedral. I could step out on my small balcony and see the dome of St. Peter's so clearly. The hotel had nice decor, a small bar area, decent breakfast buffet and a large lobby. It was... More

This hotel is very close to Vatican City. it's a good hotel for the price, clean with professinal staff and good rooms. They have their own transport to aiportfor a reasonable price, which is better than a taxi in my opinion. My the only complain about the hotel is Wi-Fi. First of all it works only in the lobby but... This hotel is two blocks to Vatican City. Incredible staff.... a person in our party left a backpack in a cab and it was returned to the hotel. All was intact including the laptop and camera. We can't say enough about the honesty of the staff and the people they hire. Thanks for a really fun vacation. More

Stayed here last week. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection of hot and cold meats, cheeses, fruit etc.The rooms are a decent size and clean but could do with some redecoration. The air con is noisy and not very efficient. The bathroom is poorly laid out. The facilities in the room are very basic.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights September 30 - October 3rd, 2011. BOOKING - My parents booked a standard room online, and we paid about +$100 extra per night for an upgraded superior room. The only difference really was that our room had hardwood floors/2nd floor/one queen bed and their's had carpetted floors/4th floor/twin beds. Not really worth... More

pretty good hotel... Nice size for italian hotels but the staff are somewhat rude and for how unfriendly they can be they expdct you to be very well-mannered . Also, 30 minutes of internet per room per day in the lobby is dumb. No matter how many people you have, there is only 30 minutes allowed and they can run... More

The hotel is located just behind St. Peter square. A great location for visiting the Vatican. The Internet connection offered is a shame. Very slow most of the time and impossible to use at peak hours. It's free in the lobby but you get charged 11.5€ per day in the rooms More

There were 8 in our group of travelers. We stayed at the Starshotel Michelangelo for two nights (breakfast included). The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the Vatican. The hotel staff were wonderful. I emailed the hotel several times prior to our September 29th arrival date and each email was promptly answered. The hotel staff arranged for a limo... More
