When you go Europe is pretty different than the USA. Hotels in the other side of the Atlantic are more costs cutting since services are more expensive. Do not expect big rooms, big restrooms or new furniture. However, this Hotel deserves a A+. I paid around 180 US$ per night. The room was pretty clean, the balcony has a great... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Michaelangelo to start our 11 day vacation in Italy. The taxi ride with 2 other couples from the airport took 45 mins and cost 20 euros each. The driver was happy when I gave him 45 euros. We reserved a junior suite but received a regular suite. Luckily we were able to check in... More

Stayed for 5 nights on my first trip to Rome. Arrived late and the night porter took my bags to my room and explaind the dining times and bar times. My room was a very good size with huge double bed, 2 chairs and coffee table, bathroom was quite adequate and shower had good pressure. Room also had a balcony... More

My sister, niece, and I just returned from a pilgrimage in Rome and Assisi. The hotel is less than a 10-minute from St. Peter's and you pass by a large water fountain from which to fill your water bottles with pure, clean water from the acquifiers. Visits to churches may be reached by walking. The bus and the Metro stops... More

My husband and I were on an organised excursion from our mountain village near Avellino and were told that the hotel was of good quality. It certainly lived up to its reputation. A breakfast to suit every fussy palate, a mouth-watering lunch with excellent wine and service, and the softest, most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on. Close proximity to The... More

Stayed here for 3 days and chose it due to location near Vatican City. Rooms were ok, breakfast buffet was ok. Lobby is nice and the free Wi-Fi is great. Front desk staff were ok, could have been friendlier and I would have appreciated more help locating a good restaurant nearby instead of being told "they are all good". One... More

The view of St Peter's had as hooked from the second we stepped out of the taxi (could not travel by train as the Metro service was on strike - again). They were able to assist with an early check-in and room though small was gorgeous! The hotel is quiet and clean and the location 'around the corner' from the... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of a two week trip through Italy. The location is very close to the Vatican, but is otherwise a difficult area for walking to tourist sites. The nearest Metro station is the Vatican stop, which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. If you stay here for... More

We arrived to a very small room for three of us. The room was clean enough but very small for the price we paid. The reception staff was rude most of the time. The very first day we went touring in the city and our laptop was stolen out of our room. We were told that if we filed a... More

We were in Rome for three nights an loved this hotel. So close to Vatican city! If you leave the hotel and turn left, then right on the main drag there is a lovely restaurant with a friendly owner. Excellent tirimisu and cappuccino there as well. Back to the hotel... Friendly bar staff and the front desk showed us how... More
