The service was quite decent and although the rooms were kind of drab and old, they were clean for the most part. But the fact that the location was really not good for sightseeing in Rome and the lack of working air conditioning (I was on a Contiki trip and some of the other people on the trip said theirs... The best thing about this hotel is the great localization. It's just a few meters away from a subway station. The rooms are not a four star standard, the breakfeast is really poor and if you wake up late you won't have much to eat. The staff is polite and the bathrooms are clean. More

We booked this hotel with a very reasonably priced flight & hotel deal and hoped for the best when we saw the hotel website. Upon arrival we were greeted in a very unfriendly manner. Instead of "hello, ciao, whatever..." the concierge just yelled "Austria???" and pointed to the room were we were to drop our luggage - well, it was... More

I stayed at regent last year while Contiki'ing it around Italy. this was the first stop of the tour and first stop in Italy ever. This is my family town, and boy was i surprised, but it was built a while ago and unless you stay in a top notch place, all of italy is kinds like this. well other... More

The room was dirty, we had pigeons roosting by our window so we couldn't open it at night to get some air because the ac didn't work. The beds were old and needed to be replaced. Rome was great but this place was a dive. More

A friend and I stayed here twice in June, and we were pretty happy with it. Basic rooms, wifi available (for a price) and relatively quiet rooms. We were pleased with both our rooms, however we were lucky, because when we visited some other friends rooms - there's weren't as good as ours - with the wifi dropping out, noises... More

While the stay in the hotel was not altogether unpleasant with a large room, the air conditioning was almost non-existent. I complained during all my 5 days of stay with temperatures of 30 degrees+ regarding the AC not working. It may have worked for a few hours during the entire 5 days! While the reception did their best to fix... More

My husband and I travelled to Europe for 2 weeks with our best friend and were part of a Contiki tour. We stayed here for 3 nights. Its a bit out of town but thankfully we either had a coach to take us in and out of town or took the bus. The rooms were a bit outdated but clean... More

My husband and I stayed here in May of 2011, as part of a Contiki Tour. I had read horrible reviews before we left., so I was quite worried. However, when we arrived, I was surprised to find that the hotel room was clean and safe, which was all we were looking for. We were a little in sorts when... More

Stayed here for a six day break in Rome in June 2011. Only one stop on the underground to some of the main attractions made the location good. However the general demise of the hotel was shabby and faded. Rooms had seen better days, showers old, curtains hanging off rails furniture badly scuffed etc etc .Breakfast was of poor quality...
