Fabio and Lorenzo are excellent hosts. The B&B is perfect, great location, surrounded by lots of good restaurants. The room was very comfortable, we even had our own balcony where we could relax during the evenings after a whole day of walking. Fabio and Lorenzo helped us a lot planning our daily trips, giving us recommendations and gathering all the... More

I would highly recomend the Ambar B&B, Fabio and Lorenzo helped us plan our tour and made our visit to Rome all the better. The breakfast was very nice, the room was clean, bright and nicely put together. The location was great, good food and shops nearby, bus near and a short walk to the subway. More

This is a lovely, reasonably priced B&B run by very nice, helpful people (Fabio & Lorenzo). The decor was modern & minimalist, yet colorful & cozy. The bed was the most comfortable that we've experienced during our 2 week trip in Italy. Possibly more comfortable than our own bed at home! We had a large, private, very functional bathroom that... Ambar was a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we contacted Fabio via e-mail, everything ran smoothly. We have nothing but praise for Fabio and Lorenzo and for this B&B. The decor is very modern, and we liked it because it made us feel like we were really in the big city, after staying at a very... More

Landed here after 24 hrs from Sydney. We arrived at about 9am which was unavoidable but Fabio got our room ready as soon as it was available. This place is a little out of the centre (outside the city walls) but quite close to the Vatican and there is easy access to a large no of buses plus a nearby... More

Fabio is a really welcoming and nice person. Because the B&B only has 3 rooms, he gives personal attention to every guest. The bath room is not inside of the room, which is a bit uncomfortable, but the bath room itself is well equipped and very convenient. The location of the B&B is a bit far from the center but... More

The two owners are nice and friendly, always helping and answering any question. The rooms are big and clean, bed sheets and towels provided smell like fresh and you can see they are clean. The matress is hard (which I personally like). Bathroom is not ensuite but each room has its private one just outside the door, clean and big.... More
