This place is located on the other side of the Tiber River, in Trastevere. It is far away from the busy city of Rome which has its advantages. The food in this area is decent, authentic (not tourist-like) and less expensive. There are many bars where you can enjoy some great coffee. It is walkable to the main sights and... More

We found this hotel to be an excellent retreat after each day of exploring Rome. The pleasant staff, the quiet courtyard, breakfast and being surrounded by serenity all make this a perfect place to rest. It is central to all of Romes sights whether you explore by foot or public transport. We would certainly stay here again when we are... More

Only spent two nights here at the start of our Italy trip and could easily spent more time in this lovely hotel. Simple, but clean and in an excellent location. Charming area with lots of interesting places to eat. Wonderful breakfast buffet w/ yogurt, cereals, fruit, meats, cheese, bread, pastries and excellent coffee (expresso or reg). Ate dinner diagonally across and up the street... More

Travelled with 3 girlfriends, having been to Rome a dozen times. This hotel is clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast is generous. The place is very well kept with the original furniture and artefacts. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location is perfect, walking distance to all of Trastevere, one of Rome's best areas, near Campo dei... More

We stayed two nights at this convent, and it was just perfect. The location in Trastevere is ideal! Hard to find better! The breakfast are just fine, the place is very clean and the rooms are plenty big. Nothing fancy, but the value is perfect. More

I stayed here for two weeks with a large group do I was able to get to know the staff and see several rooms. The staff is fantastic and goes out of their way to help make you comfortable and give you advice. The rooms are all clean and nicely equipped, but there is a huge disparity in space and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and then returned for 2 more nights. First visit (room 222) was a wonderful, spacious room with a great bathroom. Return visit had a room that was too small and an airplane shower (avoid room 301). Location is in lovely Trastevere. Terrific walking to many attractions and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was very... More

We stayed in this hotel in May 2011. The customer service was very good and the staff speaks very good English. We left our luggage all day in the back room and nothing happen. The hotel is very cute, and is located in a non-tourist neighborhood. The main attractions were easily reach by foot (did not have to take the... More

We were extremely satisfied with our stay there. The room was quiet, clean, and we had a beautiful view of charming Trastevere with a little outdoor space. When we visited in April 2011, they were in the process of getting wireless Internet for the entire hotel, so by now it should be up and running. The staff was very helpful... More
