My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Babuino last week. As previous reviewers mentioned, the place is both modern and comfortable and despite being a small boutique hotel, actually afforded a pretty spacious suite. In fact, the bathroom was the largest we came across during our stay in Italy and the true to form Roman shower... More

A very modern well run hotel. the people at the desk were most helpful and the lady who ran the breakfast room was the nicest person we met in ROME. A little more draw space in the room would have been appreciated.. Expensive but worth it More

For a great vacation, you need a great place to stay. For starters, it readily fit our budget. Next, it was right in front of Spanish steps and the shopping district. The place looks new and they had all the facilities youll need. They have a great coffee machine and a stove and utensils for cooking. The room was cozy,... More

I don't know what else to say about this hotel that hasn't already been written. My partner and I chose to stay here based on Trip Advisor reviews, and we are so glad we did. This is a very elegant, intensely private, low key hotel in the PERFECT location. We had never been to Rome before, and Babuino 181 is... More

Babuino 181 was a perfect base for our 5 night visit to Rome celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. It's perfectly situated in the stylish center of Rome, near the Spanish Steps and within walking distance of all the major sights. There are shops and restaurants all around so it's easy to find somewhere to eat or drink in the evening... More

Babuino 181 is a wonderful small boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. Excellent location, great rooms, extremely nice reception staff and great breakfast, which is an exception in Italy! Stayed at Babuino 181 in mid April with my mother. Although the weather was not great the first couple of days we still enjoyed our stay due to the fact... More

A hotel with virtually no frontage or presence and yet inside is luxury and peace. My wife found this through Trip Advisor after I spend ages getting confused about where to stay in Rome. The hotel sits almost equally between the historic sites of the forum and the Vatican (25 minutes on foot). Its close to the Spanish steps, Trevi... More

We have been fortunate to have been able visit Rome every year for the past 7 years and we have almost always stayed at one of the Top 10 Trip Advisor hotels in the city without disappointment and I can easily say that this is my new favorite hotel in the city. The location, property and staff are all excellent... More

A local recommended staying near the Spanish steps as a good central location and after a brief search on Tripadvisor my wife and I booked Babuino for 4 nights in April. The room was very luxurious and although there wasn't a separate room for a sitting area - do you really need one? Bathroom included large bath, great shower and... More

This all suites property is terrific. We stayed over spring (Easter) break: -Classic suite: Not really a suite but a large triple (no separate room). However large modern bathroom with a big tub, rainfall shower stall and separate toilet area. -Great soundproofing and good 'air' -Breakfast is delivered to your room, and very generous. Continental or American (includes meat/cheeses). Comes... More
