The Gli Scipioni B&B is a hidden gem in the Vatican area. We stayed there for 4 days in early May of 2012. The location is great off a side street near the Metro stop. Everything at the Vatican is within easy walking distance and the neighborhood is great with lots of cafes, shops and attractions. This is a small... More

Don't be put off by the fact that you deal directly with the owner David via email. He is great. He met us at the place with instructions and information. The apartment has 3 bedrooms each with a bath and a common kitchen - fix your own breakfast. The refrigerator is fully stocked with yogurt, cheeses, bread, cereal and more.... More

David took his time to show us our room and to give us a lot of great tips for exploring Rome. We were very pleasantly surprised with the very... More
