Our first family trip in Rome, we were so lucky to find Domus Cavour. Cristiano was the perfect host. He arranged for airport transfer for us and was there to welcome us to the B&B. Our room was comfortable for the four of us. The kids loved the elevator in the building though it was only a short walk up... More

We stayed at the Domus Cavour from October 18th through the 22nd. Cristiano, our host, arranged a very reasonably priced transfer from the airport and was on hand to greet us when we arrived. Our room was rather basic but spotlessly clean. The TV took some figuring out and help from Cristiano but we got it to work. The breakfast... More

Domus Cavour is a lovely quiet oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Rome. Cristiano is the perfect host - gracious, professional, helpful, and warm. His English is fluent, but he was still patiently willing to help me with my struggling Italian. (I'm trying to learn the language...) He gave excellent advise on getting around Rome, places... More

Cristiano is a wonderful owner of this charming B&B. He is so helpful and friendly. Each morning he prepares breakfast and you eat with the other guests at the dining room table. It was a lovely way to meet new people. The rooms are simple and comfortable. Nothing spectacular, but a very good value for the price. The B&B is... More

On behalf of the whole family, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Cristiano de Benedetti, for making our stay at Domus Cavour so memorable. We were in Rome between the 11th and 19th July, and have enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We are so glad we stayed at Domus Cavour. The rooms were beautifully designed,... More

Private apartments used for B&B - you get checked in, handed a key to your room, the apartment, and the building and then you're on your own in Rome. Walked to most sites from the B&B - great restaurants just around the corner or down the block. No frills; comfortable beds, good A/C, quiet rooms - we'll DEFINITELY stay there... More

Beautiful B&B, spotlessly clean (and I am extremely fussy!), very tastefully decorated and Cristiano was wonderful! Replied to emails almost straight away and very helpful before our trip with regards to airport transfer and tickets for The Vatican. We took the Bus Shuttle (8 euros) from the airport to Piazza Cavour and had a walk of maybe 3 or 4... More

Brilliant; location, price, value and welcoming. I searched on the Internet for weeks to find a family room with 4 beds cloe to the Vatican that was reasonable and had good reviews. I am so pleased that I located this b&b. Christiano is the owner/manager, he is a businessman and understands about customer service and the power of the Internet.... More

We stayed in Rome for couple of days to enjoy historical center. Before we went, we were searching for hotel that would be in the city center, close to underground or having nearby bus connection, so that we could reach everything what we wanted to see. Domus Cavour was perfect for that, several buses stopped close to hotel and underground... More

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in May 2011. This B&B is a great value compared to staying in a traditional hotel. Also, the location is great. The Vatican is a short walk away. Other sites are walkable too, though we took the metro for sights like the Colosseum, which are a bit farther away (though still... More
