Location was excellent. 20min walk from train station. 10min walk from Colosseum and if your really ambitious 45min to Vatican!
When you get there, you need to phone the owners (number posted on door), or if you manage to get there at the right time, the same owners also own Cafe Brazil right next to the inn. When we checked...

Don't count on hot water. I shared a bathroom so I had to wait two hours for hot water and even then it only lasted for a minute. No place to put your toiletries in the bathroom. No shelves in the shower so a bathroom cubby for each room would be nice.
Yes, you have to walk up two and...

The owners of the B&B weren’t very friendly and rude at times. The internet service wasn’t working at all and they would give us a new excuse every day for the lack of service. When we got there, the bathroom wasn’t clean. There were items left from previous guest.
That being said, it’s affordable, well located and easily accessible by...

A friend and I were visiting Rome for the first time and a booked a room at Casa Cleo. Overall, it was clean, affordable, the room was very nice, and I thought it was in a good location. If it is your first visit to Rome and feel as though you might need some help on places to go, how...

If in Rome, go for this one if you are looking for excellent location. Colosseum being around the corner in 5 minutes easy walk, it makes this place a perfect one. It has got its share of cons though.
if you are told by the owners breakfast is served 8-10, dont expect to find anyone to serve it before 8:30....

The folks at Casa Cleo were fantastic! There hospitalities went above and beyond. My friend and I truly felt comfortable and safe, like we were with family. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone who choses to visit Rome.

I first stayed at Casa Cleo in September 2009 and again in January 2010. The location of this charming B&B is truly ideal - you have both the luxury of being within walking distance from the colosseum, piazza venezia and the many other tourist attractions, along with the added convenience of close proximity ( just 2-3 blocks) to the train...

Booked online for 90.00 EUR per night for a Triple. There were only two of us, but we wanted the extra bed (however, the extra bed was not really a useable bed-very, very poor quality). When we got there a sign in the window said 40.00 EUR per night per person. The owner said if we booked online, we had...

All I say is don't make a reservation online for this b&b. We made a reservation to stay for 84 euro a night, which seemed like a good deal until we got there, and someone else walked in and got the same room for 50 euro a night just before us.
Because we made a reservation online, we could not...
