The hotel is pretty new, rooms are quite nice but avoid the ones on the ground level since it could be noisy. The hotel staff is also super friendly, The breakfast is very special, so do not miss it! The hotel is not in the center of Rome but it has an easy access to the touristic sights by both... More

As with another review we were concerned about what rooms we would be given having booked through 'TravelRepublic.co.uk'. We were given two first floor rooms, both with balconies. Spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in the rooms not working - even after two attempts to have this fixed - didn't... More

We were returning from a cruise and had a day in Rome to see what we could... we wanted a place away from the mobs at Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, and the Colosseum. So, I booked this charming htel which is a residential area with a school. The rooms were nice and modern. A few tips: The key needs to... More

This hotel is not in the center of Rome nor close to any tourist spots. However, it is close to the metro, bus and tram (4-7 min walking) which make it easy to access any site. The hotel is in a residential and quiet area which is good when you come back from the busy city center. The room are... More

A really lovely hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October. Arrived soaking wet following an autumn downpour, but the concierge didn't bat an eyelid and made us sit straight down. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the room was beautiful, with a terrace, and huge shower. Was a bit nervous about getting a good room, after... More

we stayed in the double non-refundable suite and were given a basement room. at first, we thought this would be horrible, however, it was very decent (size, cleanliness, etc), especially since we were only there to sleep. there were a few issues with the room, namely the phone didn't work (staff didn't endeavour to fix it - they just said... If you are going to use a last minute agent to book this hotel then I suggest you choose another as you will be treated as second class citizens. I booked through Expedia, on arriving at hotel we was shown to a basement room, very dark and extremely small, I certainly not what you would expect from a 4* hotel.... More

We rented Vespas which is by far the best way to see Rome. As a result we didn't need to be within walking distance of the central sights. We loved the hotel. Clean, bright, brand new and with a huge balcony terrace overlooking a very green treed neighbourhood. The beautiful breakfast room was in a "backyard" filled with huge pine... More

We booked a room in the Hotel Prime Hotel Principe Torlonia in Rome (through Last minute.com), at a cost of 224 euros a night. On arriving, the hotel informed us of an “overbooking” & put us in another hotel which was considerably inferior. We could do nothing. The hotel denied any responsibility, as did Last Minute.com. This is doing business... More

This Hotel could be so good but is let down by its staff, when we arrived we were told there was no room as our credit card had been rejected but Hotel did not tell any one. When the card was used to pay it worked. We were offered a hotel in the Vatican area no good for us as... More
