Excellent surprise. We expected little but we got great value, friendly service, very good facilities and welcome convenience. Clean and very close to ruins / centre of town but hidden away from main streets. Rooms with air con, free wif and usual facilities. Nice little pool to cool off in. Good food available. After travelling round Italian cities we were so pleased to stay in otello garden. The lovely terrace was a welcome retreat and somewhere to chill out after visiting the spectacular ruins. The evening meal was also an unexpected delight. More

In total there were 10 in our group, two of whom were young children. The staff were very helpful and when one of the children became ill the manager took the time to take us to the doctor where he translated and helped get the medicine from the pharmacist. Although advertised as a delux hostel, we booked a double room en suite, and it was more like a small hotel. We paid 48 euros for a double room.
