At first glance you would think that the hotel was located in a bad part of town, but everything in that part of town looks run-down. The hotel looks like it had a renovation a few years ago, but apparently the pipes and "guts" of the inner workings of building were not changed. ie. the water smelled horrible, and not...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel.
+: very close to the central station and circumvesuviana station. Easy access to trams for the city centre and harbour.
-: the first night we were moved to another hotel because of a power blackout; cleaning staff did not lock the room door after cleaning the room; dirty toilet and shower cabin which...

Location is perfect only if you're planning to travel a lot around Napoli - It's next to the main train station (and buses). So u can easily get to Pompei, Sorrento, Amalfi coast and major Italian cities (e.g. Rome). There's a supermarket nearby, some "no brand" shops & a couple of cafes (including the oldest pizzeria of the city). But...

We stayed in this hotel on the last week of April. We were pleased with hotel's location - near Piazza Garibaldi (and Stazione Garibaldi where we could take a train to Pompei) and one of the main shopping streets - Corso Umberto. "Near" - i mean within several minutes of walking on foot. Then the guys on the reception were...

If your stay in hotel is just for those hours when one needs 8 hours of sleep then this is the best bargain in Naples. The hotel is at 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station. Even the bus-stop is very close to the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel was decent. Dinning area was clean. Hotel has...

I think one fact sums up the experience. I opened the folder! in my room to see if it contained an envelope. No. It did have a questionaire completed by a guest in March 2009!
Some indication of the whereabout of the entrance (screened like all ground floor windows with thick net curtains) and how to find the buzzer to...

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. While Napoli is not great, we felt safe in this hotel. Parking, if needed, is provided (for a cost) by a family who owns a fenced-in-lot next door. They were also nice. Breakfast was not large but adequate and average for Italy.

Hotel is situated in a very dodgy part of Naples - didn't feel safe in the evening and didn't feel safe at 10am. Yes, it is close to train station or buses if you want to go sightseeing but the stress is not worth it. As for the interior, for this price you couldn't expect more. Apart from the view...

The rating was 4 stars, but I would have to disagree with that. We had to book this hotel after missing our cruise ship due to plane maintenance issues. The hotel is in the ghetto! I did not feel safe walking outside at night. Just a hundred feet up the road there was a 40ft x 30ft x head high...
