We stayed two nights here in the Ciclomina room, as we had booked their sister hotel, Anticarepubblica and in the notes on the booking website, we asked for a sea view. As a result, they sent us here. They had a buggy collect us from Anticarepubblica and drive us up to the villa. The room was up a few flights... More

Rooms were kept clean - the breakfast was good - The view for breakfast was awesome - it is also a great place to sip wine and enjoy the ocean/town and cliff views. The walk to the property is short, pleasant, from the town center. The stairs/elevator were both fine options - we did stairs down, elevator up. Both hosts... More

Not what I expected based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Amalfi is a small town, and the location was on the outskirts out of the town and had to walk through suburban areas. The walk was unpleasant as you had to walk through a large tunnel and an overgrown garden. Very dark at night to walk up and seemed shady.... More

Stayed for 3 nights in early October 2010. Great location in quiet area away from main square, but we echo same comments of other reviews about steps & walk up hill. We quite enjoyed the location & took the steps many times all the way up. Incredible staff service and excellent dinner recommendations given! Wi-fi would have been nice but... More

Villa AnnaLara is on a little hill called Villa some 300 m from Amalfi centre. It is away from all the tourist noise and has the most awesome view. The hotel may be reached by stairs, but also with a little elevator. The elevator is at the end of a small tunnel which is very cool and great after a... More

We stayed 4 nights at Annalara, and would recommend it to anyone. While Amalfi itself is quite touristy (especially during the day), the villa is set back from and well above the hustle and bustle, although it is only a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and beach (and there is a lift from the street to the villa).... We stayed here two nights in June. It is a dreadful value, and the descriptions of the rooms are flat-out lies. Our room had a sloped attic-style ceiling, low enough to bang your head on en route to the bathroom, and I'm 5'4" tall. We were promised a sea view--there was a small porthole window at floor level and, if... More

We stayed a whole week here. The villa has a wonderful terrace which has beautiful views of the town and the sea. The rooms are clean, well decorated and include a TV and fridge. It has a great sense of individuality about it and the staff, Renato and Salvatore were so helpful with their local knowlege. I would reccomend this... More

This bed and breakfast was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Perched high above the beautiful town of Amalfi, the room was modern and large. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast wasn't as good as we expected, but there was nice coffee and it was a pleasure to eat on the large terrace overlooking the city and out to... More
