This hotel offers tourist a very comfortable hotel in central Matrea very near the Sassi. Great breakfast and updated baths. The staff were very helpful and our internet was free. The rooms are somewhat small and not much rooms for large or many bags.

This hotel has 3 things going for it, in our opinion: parking under the building, a great location for visiting the city on foot, and a very good breakfast, including the service. Hotel San Domenico is an excellent place to stay in Matera.It is a clean,modern hotel with spacious rooms and nice bathrooms,just one block from P. Veneto,the center of town AND it has parking,a major feature in Maters.We were surprised by the HUGE breakfast offered on the terrace.This is a nice hotel,and a bargain.We heartily recommend it.
