Excellent location in a beautiful city. This hotel is fairly basic (doesn't offer breakfast) but is good value if you want a clean (ish) and comfortable en-suite room. Let's face it, when the location is this good, why would you want to spend time in your room anyway? Shame that the bedroom floor hadn't been swept either before or during... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, at first really didnt like it, the bedroom although clean was very cold, it took the small electric heater 24hrs to get it warm. The rooms although small do what you need( shower & sleep. But what makes this hotel is the very helpfull staff, and it's great location... More

Spent one week in Valencia, chose Hotel Europa because I was there once before. Great location and price. You are just steps away from history and the staff is great. The dining room is very nice also. Always remember that you are in Europe, not the U.S., You will be rewarded with history, great staff, great rooms and a vacation... More

Definitely a budget hotel. The room I got was terrible. Dark, dingy, no window, only a hatch that opened out to an internal air shaft, awful tiled floor with suspicious looking stains on it, light fixtures that constantly went "bzzzzzzz", bedding that looked like army surplus. It was like being in prison. The bathroom was clean admittedly, so much so... More

Clean, comfortable and friendly - very well located in busy bar and restaurant area, and within easy reach of all city attractions. Well worth the budget rate, thoroughly recommended. Wish they did breakfast, but excellent bar next door which opens at 8 am! More

This hotel was the only real mistake among the eight places we chose to stay during a recent trip to Spain. Although the bathroom was clean, the bedspreads were so dirty that I hated to touch them for the few seconds it took to remove them from the beds and stow them in the closet. Both of the rooms we... GREAT location near the station, a main square (where one finds the post office) and a pedestrian zone. The level of English (or German or French) was basically zero but we managed. Tight elevator. (Evil) air con worked and was sadly necessary in July. Mediocre shower pressure - although the wall bracket didn't hold it so you have a one-handed... More

Excellent value for money, really! We have booked a double room and enjoyed for a huge 4-people room, clean, with two balconies and a bathroom recently refourbished and it coudn't be better located: two steps from the town-hall, 5 minutes to the old-town, cathedral and nice places to go out. And just for 49€ per night... More

The hotel is 5 minutes walking from the train station - Estación del Norte. 1 minute from Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Calle de la Ribera has lots of quick restaurants. Getting bus number 35 in the same block leads to Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias - City of Arts and Sciences. It's not expensive. It's clean. We stayed 2 nights... More

What more could I want? I wanted a very cheap hotel, in the city centre, clean, with ensuite shower and toilet and reasonably quiet. The Europa has all of these attributes. All of this for 30 euros per night in April in a single room (with double bed). Oh! it had a tv too. More
