Stayed here for two nights just after new year. its a great value hotel in an excellent location right on the town hall square. its only a two minute walk to the port, which has a multitude of bars and restaurants, and there are many more traditional tapas bars just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again! more

Been here a couple of years ago and had the same experience this year, FANTASTIC! Fair enough the square's noisy at night but it's the town hall square, what do you expect? Very comfortable hotel and the staff are more than accommodating, assuring us of good rooms (which materialised) looking after bags and generally welcoming. The main reason we returned... more

The were 4 of us in our party and we were allocated ajoining rooms. They were both clean and well presented. The one was about twice the size of the other but even the smaller one was a decent size. The rooms overlooked a lovely square in the civic centre and we watched the comings and goings (about 6 weddings... more

Stayed in this hotel in October 2006. Room was very clean, bathroom very good, hotel was well located between the old town and the beach/marina. Staff were fine. The main negative points are firstly that the hotel is on the route between all the night life in the old town from which a large number of revellers walk down to... more

Stayed 1 night here at beginning of september, Room was OK for a 4 star , but aircon was noisy and not all that effective. couldn't open window because of the noise. There were no coffee making facilities , which I find strange for a 4 star hotel , and the satelite TV had only CNN channel in english. Most... more

This is a 4* hotel just in the center of Alicante. We stayed 4 nights during the most important village fair "Fogueres". Our room was clean and fullfilled our requirements. The only thing that bothered us, was the fact that it was impossible to keep the water in the shower at a constant temperature. It varied between too hot and... more

This hotel has a great location, but don't expect to sleep between 2am and 5 am. It's positioned in the main square across from the Town Hall, and all the local youths appeared to gather there in the early hours. Very little English spoken at reception and mini-bar not working i.e. we couldn't chill our own wine. Apart from that... more

I stayed here early December, arrived at 9.30 pm, asked for food and told the kitchen was shut, then offered a frozen lasagne, took one mouthfull and left it, parking for your car is 800mtrs away and expensive. Give this one a miss!!!! more

We stayed in Alicante at the Hotel Eurostars Mediterranea Plaza. It was rated as a 4 star hotel but more like 3 star. However the bedroom and bathroom were exactly as stated on the website, Clean and pleasant. The receptionist could not have been nicer and was very helpful. There is no lounge in this hotel and the bar is... more
