The hotel Bruna is a family owned hotel, with very nice welcoming and in english. The rooms are all different, quite cheap, most of them very small, bathroom small too. But it is very clean, friendly, has anelevator and the most important for us, very close to the main museums of Madrid, and to a subway station. More

My first time staying in a hostal, but I would have to say that Hostal Bruna was definitely a good choice. 5 minute walk to the Atocha train station, & about a 15 minute walk to the center of the city. The 4 days I spent I never had to go very far for anything. Including clubs, bars, museums, festivals,... More

This is my second time staying at the Hostal Bruna, having stayed there 7 years ago. The Hostal is clean and the rooms are secure having an inside locked door to go through as well as the main front door. The rooms tend to be compact but the bathrooms are fully equiped and very clean. The staff are very helpful... More

This is the sort of place I wished I had found when I came to Spain in 1977 for school. We booked here at the last minute when we headed back to Madrid sooner than we expected in order to visit the Prado and Reina Sofia. We worried that maybe the room would be noisy in such a central location,... More

Hostel Bruña is very well located, between the Prado and Reina Sofia Museums. Our room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and everything was very clean. Over the weekend we were bothered by the noise of other guests, who arrived at dawn talking loudly. As we travel in the summer and... More

The Hostal Bruna is located very near the Prado and other museums and the Atocha train station. It is a "value" place to stay--very basic, but, for Madrid, inexpensive. Our room was tiny, but spotless (friends with us had a larger room). It had a private bathroom which was small, but quite adequate. If you are in Madrid to see... More

The door is a little hard to find but it is next door to the Radisson. Owners are very nice people, very accommodating and helpful. Not a lot of English but enough to get by. Rooms are very clean, vary in size some but comfortable. Heat is good (we were in Northern Spain where it wasn't). Quiet but floors are... More

Hostal Bruna was an excellent choice for us. We had some reservations from reading previous reviews on TripAdvisor, but these were totally unfounded. We were given an upgrade to an apartment at the same price as there was no double left. We arrived late at night around 11.30pm and the receptionist had waited up for us to check in. Everything... This was my second time staying in the Bruna, the last time having been possibly 6 or 7 years ago. The first thing I noted was that the room had been refurbished in the interim - modern tiling on the bedroom floor and throughout the (smallish) bathroom. This adds to the feeling of cleanliness - the room and bathroom were... More

Hotel Bruna is well located for art lovers and close to Huertas where a big deal of the evening action goes on in Madrid. The hotel is nice and clean. We had a good welcome. Everything about this hotel was allright, except when you like to have a quiet night of sleep. We stayed there for seven nights and only... More
