Just a couple of days after our arrival we got pickpocketed in the crowded Metro - in distress you helped us out with your trust - Thanks, we shall never forget the courtesy of Abalu Management. more

What a pleasure to stay in a hotel where it's not a corporate clone, but still clean efficient and very friendly. From the website, which gives all the information you need to judge the hotel, through the greeting at the main desk it was a very pleasant experience. I had seen the hotel mentioned in various guides and articles and... more

Stained sandpaper towels, views of the ghetto, no hot water at times, run-ins with local crack-heads and drunks, limited local eating establishments with clean environments (unless you like to walk through cigarette butts and dirty napkins to get to your table), horrendous customer service, problematic wireless network, tattered rugs and too-thin walls. Need I say more. more

Situated close to the city Centre, this quaint hotel is ideal for a business visit especially when you are travelling by yourself. Unfortunately, we were not used to the idea of having a bathroom in the bed room where the overall impression is of sleeping in the bathroom!! Also, the extremely tiny dining area and the limited food available make... more

Great location around the corner from Plaza D'Espana, very nice, modern looking rooms, but the rooms are very small for two people and the parking options are absolutely terrible, as are the extrememly narrow streets around the hotel The parking spots that the hotel has in a nearby garage were some of the tightest I have ever seen in the... more

Really great little boutique hotel with attention to detail. Service is good and the breakfasts are adequate. Closely located to a metro station and right in the heart of YOUNG and funky part of Madrid, with lots of lane ways to discover. Central yet away from the really commercialized and touristy parts of Madrid. Would recommend for something very cool,... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel - beds were very comfotable and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. However the basin in our room had the tap too far from the basin so whenever you turned the water on it went everywhere. Also we would have prefered to have more of a separate bathroom - not too keen... more

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location. Only downside: our "bathroom" was a shower & washbasin in the room. So if you're not used to showering & dressing in front of your travel compagnon, that might be a problem. The toilet was seperate. Overall, the rooms are small, the closet not very accessible, but a nice place to stay for a... more
