This hotel is in dire need of an upgrade they say they have wifi and dont. The safes dont work, the roms are tiny, the front desk lacks co sideration and friendliness. The hotel manager was nice but thats about it More

The hotel has a great location but that's all about it. I arrived in Madrid in from Houston, TX after 12 hours flying and feeling sick. They didnt allow me to get my room at 9 AM, They made me wait in the freezing hotel lobby for 2 hrs, I was half asleep and very weak and nobody checked on... More

I stayed at the Madrid Tryp Atocha twice at the beginning and end of my travel to Morocco. The location is very good and easy to get to from the airport, despite the multiple Metro changes. Be sure to get off at Anton Martin. I did get turned around but was able to correct on my own. Madrid is very... More

ok hotel. opposite to the train station. Convenient walk to the city center of about 15 minutes. however, very poor service and staff is very uptight. Rooms are super small. Only recommended for single people in transit. Corridors were too small and seemed like a maze. Wi-fi is available but they wont give you the password till you really get... More

I spend a weekend in this hotel and i would like to recommed it to everybody who search an excellent location in the heart of Madird on a reasonable price. I loved my room, it was a fitness equipment inside ... :) Was quite which is very important. Additionally, the staff was very friendly, especially on the reception. The variety... More

The hotel has a good location near the Atoacha trainstation and metro stop (Anton Martin) that is the only pro of the hotel. I stayed in the luxury room on the backside of the hotel on I believe the 5th floor (with a nice view over Madrid). The room was ok, but basic and very small! Especially the bathroom was... More

I felt like a mouse in a maze. Endless corridors.. I took forever to find our room. When we arrived we discovered that we cannot close the window. Street were narrow at the back street so we can easily here the neighbors. But hotel was clean and in a good location. We walked to many places from the hotel. Museums,... More

Nothing much to say about this hotel. Rooms are very clean, decoration is simple, location is convenient to see the major sights but close to the seedy parts of Madrid. Of note: the breakfast buffet is huge and of good quality. More

Stayed for one night while on business. Excellent location in Madrid near the train station. Staff was very friendly and even made us a to-go breakfast package in the morning since we were departing very early to meet with suppliers. Did not eat in the restaurant so cannot speak for the dining experience. Otherwise excellent hotel, ambiance, with attention to... More

Tryp Atocha is really close to Puerta del Sol and Parque Buen del Retiro, so really the whole city is less than 20 mins walk away - if you know where you are going :) If you don't fancy walking then the tube (metro) station is right outside the door. Breakfasts were good, bed was comfy, air conditioning worked a... More
