We spent 3 nights in this hostal in the heart of Madrid. The rooms are small and quite basic, just what you would expect in a budget hotel, and it might be a good idea to have ear-plugs handy, as the Chueca area is very busy and noisy especially during the weekend. This hostal operates as an overflow for the Hostal Odesa in the same building. Female couples may consider this to be a confortable gay-friendly option, however the staff is more hostile towards gay male guests. Males will be much more welcome at the nearby Hostal Hispa Domus on Calle de San Bartolome. more
