I stayed at this hotel overnight and I chose it because it is near Nuevos Ministerios. When I arrived, I noticed that, even though it is near Nuevos Ministerios train station, I wouldn't dare walk to the station from that place at 5,30 in the morning. If you have to take an early train, and you are a woman alone,... More

Stayed in an apartment at this hotel, first impressions on entering reception were quite favourable. The apartment at first glance appeared OK,it was clean enough and quite spacious. On closer inspection after unpacking, things began to appear that should have been very apparent to the regular staff in charge of the hotel. There were 3 loose electrical wall sockets which could be rotated by hand... We just spent eight nights in this hotel and found it to be very convenient, quiet, and clean. The rooms are actually set up as suites with a small kitchen. The value was very good as this hotel was awesome for the price. The staff was very helpful and even provided an electrical adapter so that we could charge our... More

I spent only one night here. The staff was very helpful and the accommodation comfortable and clean. The location is good being very close to metro stations. I walked to Nuevos Ministerios to catch the metro to the airport (this is the end of line 8 which goes to Madrid Airport). Nearby there are ample bars, restaurants. I have 2... More

The apartments of the Plaza Basilica are just that a small apartment sized hotel room with some of the nice complimentary things an hotel has plus all the services like maid and cleanning room service. We stayed there for almost a week last summmer and enjoyed Madrid and everything it has to offer. Spain is one of our favorite trip... More

The hotel rooms are spacious. The bathroom has large towels as well as soaps and shampoos even though it is an "apartment hotel". The room has a safe which doesn't need to be paid for. The kitchen has a fridge, 2 burner hob, dishes, glasses, silverware but is missing a microwave and most importantly a hot water urn. There is... More

This is really an apartment hotel which I obtained through Royal Holiday timeshare, and I stayed in a one bedroom suite for four days in April It smelled of smoke though I requested a nonsmoking room. The door lock tumbler fell into a position that wouldn't admit a key so that entailed some involvement with management. Though that only occurred... More

I`ve just stayed 5 nights with my wife at the apartments ( Feb 17th-22nd ) and everything was really good. The`re located on a nice area, close enough to main avenues and metro stations so transportation is not a problem. The suite where we stayed was charming. The staff at the reception was kind helpul and gave us important information... More

We just returned from a week in Madrid, where we spent 4 nights at the Apartamentos Plaza Basilica. The place was wonderful and we couldn't have been happier! ROOM: The room was huge (especially for Europe!), and had a bedroom, a bathroom, and a sitting area complete with kitchenette. Everything was neat and clean. The bedroom offered two twin beds...
