A nice place to stay, although soundproofing was really quite poor, we could hear all kinds of noises from the rooms next to ours and the corridor. Not nearly as old and run-down as some of the reviews might suggest, actually quite distinguished in classical kind of way. Great location, close to almost everything. Breakfast was good and diverse, one... More

This hotel might have been a 4-star hotel when it was last renovated (at least 20 years ago) but today it is barely 3-stars, at best. The decor is old and needs to be renewed. The soundproofing is the worst that I have experienced. I heard everything - really, EVERYTHING - that was going on in the adjacent rooms, not... More

The Hotel Msyorazgo is just off the main road ( Gran Via ) It is a perfect location to be in, since you can walk to many places, and just down the road from El Corto Engles. Hope i wrote it right :) It is in the middle of everything, so a very recommended place to stay with a decent... More

The wall were a bit thin, you could hear the people next door taking a shower and flushing the loo, but you could not hear them in their room. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and clean. Good free wifi and friendly staff. The hotel had a very good breakfast buffet.

Very good location in the heart of Madrid with two useful Metro stations nearby and within easy walking distance of many main sights, e.g. Royal Palace, Opera House, Puerta del Sol. Check-in was a terrible experience with one person (very pleasant despite being very harassed) dealing the queue and answering the phone whilst two other people kept coming out of... More

We stayed here in November of 2009. We were staying here for 2 days until we went to Sevilla to meet our daughter. The hotel was older, yet nice. The room and the bathroom size was decent. The noise level was nill. The hotel itself was a block off the Gran Via. You are within walking distance to virtually all... More

This hotel was centrally located for all major attractions in Madrid, close to a bus stop for the sight seeing bus tour, and a few minutes from the metro. Though it was a 4 star hotel, I agree with former reviewers that it was very dated but it was an old building and not claiming to be a modern hotel.... More

This hotel deserves no more than one star with the exception that the staff works to be helpful. The lobby area is dirty with old, stained furniture. The carpeting cannot be cleaned. Rooms are small and old, as are the bathrooms. It is located in a very noisy area with a police station across the street and a "girlie show"... More

Just got back from a long weekend in Madrid. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the location was excellent - just off Gran Via with its shops and restuarants and so close to the Palace, Opera House and to the Madrid City Tours stop. BUT this is definitely not a 4 star hotel - the lounge / bar and... More
