Getting to the hotel is a slog. You have to take the free bus provided by the hotel. But the bus provided by the Hilton was both nicer and the driver better turned out. Check in was fine. The room is massive and perfectly comfortable. The whole place has a cavernous 70's look and feel. The dinner buffet was one... More

This hotel survives on airport business - aircrew and stranded passengers, for the most part. The building is in good condition, and the room, though on the small side, was quite OK. The public areas are grandiose and not very welcoming. The evening dinner buffet was poor. We were on an inclusive rate, but I would have been appalled if... More

Arrived on a very delayed flight near midnight and grabbed the shuttle...no problem. Very large room and elegant although clearly last rennovated in the mid-1990's. Needs refreshing. Good for an overnight stay near the airport if you get a good rate. Close to public transport if you are stranded and need to go into Madrid, and the town is OK... More

We got in on a late train and got to the hotel around 11 pm (with a morning flight back to the US in the morning). Check-in was quick, the room was clean and comfortable, and the shuttle service efficient. The price was very reasonable as well. Couldn't have planned it better. More

Good hotel, with a nice service to and from the airport. The room was huge, almost a mini apartment and quite cheap. It is also very close to the metro that that takes you to the center. The service was good, the breakfast and lunch just excellent. More

The hotel is located not very far from Barajas airport, and there is a shuttle bus that runs between the airport and hotel. I found the walls in the room that I was staying in to be very thin - so think I could here the TV from next door and the conversation of the couple. I had an early... More

Stayed overnight with my husband on our last night in Europe. We had a large suite that was very roomy and comfortable. I found the traditional decor to be quaint and very European. The bathroom was huge with a separate tub and shower. The hotel airport shuttle was very convenient. Metro stop was close to the hotel for easy access.... More

This was an excellent hotel in terms of comfort and proximity to the airport with a first class shuttle service. There were good options at the breakfast. I booked a premium room and was upgraded to a junior suite which was top quality. The only problem was a 17inch TV the likes of which I have not seen in a... More

The hotel is about 1KM from the Madrid Barajas airport. They offered 24 hours free shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport. Around 15 minutes, there will be the shuttle bus and this makes it easy. The shuttle bus stops at every terminal with the sign of "hotel shuttle" on the stop. You should wave to the driver if...
