I arrived with my partner on the Thursday night of the 9th of February 2012. It happens alot as people assume, but we were given a twin room (id booked a double with hotels.com) The man on the desk could not have been more helpful and apologetic and even up graded our room to a beautiful double overlooking the main... Most reviewers like this hotel because of its location. But Gran Via is no longer the commercial centre of Madrid, It is nice yo be able to walk to Puertas del Sol but the street is verynoisy and buildings look a bit decrepit. I usually choose to stay at hotels in the Salamanca district but this time the organizers of... More

For a business type hotel , you have a great location hotel on Gran Via , but no room service and no wifi over the 2nd floor ( so I had to pay for the room internet ) . The room was good and had a balcony view of the Gran via road and on a chilly madrid night a... More

I traveled with my 17 yrs old daughter and a friend from childhood to Madrid after a recent relocation to Dublin, Ireland. Coming from Puerto Rico (Caribbean) we wanted to explore "La Madre Patria". We made reservations online through priceline for a three people bedroom and pay the extra price for that 3rd bed. We arrived at the hotel and... More

This hotel has a great location off of Gran Via..the rooms are pretty nice and clean, and some staff are more helpful than others. The biggest disappointment is that there was no wifi above the first two floors, and the service that DID exist on those two floors cost an additional hourly fee. That was a bummer. The breakfast was... More

Very central location and huge bedroom. The balcony looked out over the street, but the sound proofing was excellent. We were the envy of our friends for having this hotel! More

From this hotel you can walk to a metro station (a few meters away), Tourist Bus Stop, or if you like and enjoy walking, you can walk to Cibeles, El Prado Museum, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, Barrio Latino. The ladies an the front desk (morning) were very helpful and friendly. I cannot say the same thing about the guys in... More

Stayed for three nights as part of a trip around Spain. The best part of the stay was the staff. It was my first trip to Madrid and I had plenty of questions - best shopping, how do i get here, a nice restaruant, where is the airport? On all occasions the staff were more than willing to help and... More

Went there on a 1-day business trip. Pros: Rooms are big and clean and the breakfast is quite good, with a huge variety. The hotel itself is located near everything, if you're looking for some fun after work. Also, stayed in a room facing the street but heard no noise whatsoever. Cons: staff was helpful but not terribly pleasant. Charging... More

The hotel is centrally located (just a 2 minute walk to the Plaza de España metro stop) and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Just make sure to ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the ones facing Gran Via can be quite noisy. There was a nice, big flat screen TV in our room, however... More
