“Sweaty stay!!!”

I stayed in May, the weather was hot but they only put aircon on a 9am!! Making a very sweaty night in the room!! Very weird , have never come across this anywhere else. Otherwise basic Melia city hotel.

On short-notice, we reserved a room for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) at the Melia Galgos in Madrid. Located in the tony Salamanca neighborhood, it was a great choice. “We really enjoyed it”

Yes, the Wifi is poor, and you have to constantly reconnect, but asides from that, the room is lovely and clean. The staff was super friendly and while it is not exactly centrally located, we walked downtown in about half an hour, through lovely Madrid streets.
