I loved everything about this hotel: the location, the interior of the room (which had a very cool, modern design with clean and new fixtures), the breakfast, and the staff (who were very accommodating). Also the price was reasonable, at least during the time we were there (January). I definitely recommend this place. More

Its a decent hotel but I was a little disappointed. The photos from website didn't match our expectations. Bed wasn't comfortable. Breakfast wasnt impressive. The singing dinner at night in the cafe was definitely the highlight and being close to the Royal Palace. More

We stayed for 3 nights and then returned a week and a half later for another night. The hotel is is greatly situated for a tourist. The rooms are modern and clean. The hotel breakfast bar the best we experienced in Spain of the 9 hotels we stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. And - the price for... More

I have just spent 5 nights at the Hotel Opera in Madrid over the holiday season. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and situated in an excellent location in central Madrid, a few minutes walk from main shopping streets and major attractions. I must however point out 2 clear negatives: 1. Internet service, although included in the room price, was... More

this review is rather late, but when I stayed in March 2009 I found the hotel opera a great place to stay on my first trip to Madrid. location near the palace and opera house meant nice choice of restaurants on the doorstep and easy transport connections. unlike many hotels we viewed, we liked the modern style of Hotel Opera,... A very pleasant hotel, quite centrally located with helpful, friendly (English speaking) staff. Good for overnight or short stays, rooms too small for prolonged stay. Comfortable beds with good firm mattress. First class buffet breakfast with great range to choose from. Everywhere clean and well kept, though our shower spray would keep drooping despite attempts to fix it. Free use... More

This hotel has quite a few advantages, the first one being the location, within walking distance from the Teatro Real, the Royal Palace and the heart of the city, the Puerta del Sol. The location also helps in finding great nearby restaurants. But on top of that the hotel in itself is great. Let's be clear, it is not a... More
