This was really a bargain the rooms are very clean and have all amenities flat screen TV, aircon, double bed. The location was superb you opened the main door and you were right in the heart of Madrid. The rooms where excellent value for money and the staff were very helpful. would definitely recommend and would choose this accommodation again. More

The folks that run the place are quite nice, but after complaining of a loud room behind their washing room they moved me to a tiny box of a room. It not only had a tiny window and no moving room, but it was probably the loudest place in the hotel. Do not stay here if you want to go... More

A very short walk from Puerto del Sol and the subways along a pedestrian street. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Wireless available in the lobby at the time of our stay and rooms close to lobby. We were there in October of 2011. More

if you're looking for the basics (clean bed, clean shower) then Hostal Ivor is a great place considering it's prime location. Hostal Ivor is situated ideally within Madrid...close to the Royal Palace, restaurants, shopping and the Metro. Even the airport can be reached by the Metro.
